pmcal.net

Give It a Try
It's so simple that you'll get it right away — you load your equipment list, then get an email when something is overdue for maintenance or calibration.

Our Story
When I worked for a small manufacturing company, we had a spreadsheet with all of our equipment and dates when each one needed preventive maintenance or calibration. This worked, but when nobody looked at the spreadsheet, equipment would silently go unmaintained or uncalbirated until it caused problems or downtime. We looked at computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), but it was overkill and too expensive for a small company. What I really wanted was a regular email with a list of equipment about to need calibration or maintenance…
So I built pmcal.net, which I think is the best way for a small business to run a preventive maintenance and calibration program. It does exactly what it says — sends you a regular summary email and reminder emails — so that you don't forget.
How it Works
Enter Equipment
Enter your equipment list into pmcal.net — key it in using the entry form, or use the spreadsheet uploader.
Set Maintenance Intervals and Dates
For each piece of equipment, choose whether it needs calibration or maintenance, how often, and the last date it received each.
Get Reminders
You will get an email reminder of overdue and upcoming maintenance at your chosen frequency.

No worries if you don't have your equipment list in front of you — you can just poke around and see if pmcal.net is useful to you.
